THANKFUL
Like many, Thanksgiving is one of my most favorite times of year! Not only do we get wear cozy sweaters and eat the most delicious food, but we also get to spend extra time with family and friends. My husband and I were stationed in Europe for 4 years and weren’t able to be with our families on the holidays. I remember feeling homesick and sad at times, but we made the best of it and were thankful to have made close friends to celebrate with.
We moved back to the U.S. last year and finally got to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with family. It was amazing!! And honestly it is something we took for granted.
This year, my husband and I will be hosting Thanksgiving at our house for his family. Excited is an understatement! So excited that I almost forgot we needed to buy a turkey. But our grocery store is still stocked, so we are good! I also decorated for Christmas early this year, which is an added bonus!
Personally, I am a last minute planner. So if you still haven’t made your menu or bought your groceries, you still have time! Make a list, delegate, and go! Whether you’re hosting or attending, make it simple. Here are a few of my EASY go-to’s:

I so enjoy your writings❤️ Can’t wait to make your bourbon pecan pie!!
